Northumberland Employment Partnership
The Northumberland Employment Partnership (NEP) is funded by the North East Combined Authority (North East CA) as part of their Employment Partnerships programme.
Operating alongside partnerships in Newcastle and North Tyneside, the NEP provides a coordinated approach to bring together employment support and training providers and engaging with employers of all sizes to provide the best possible opportunity to move people towards and into good jobs across Northumberland.
Delivered by Northumberland County Council and Business Northumberland and overseen by the local Employment and Skills Partnership, the NEP supports delivery of the Northumberland Employment and Skills strategic priorities within the wider Northumberland Economic Strategy.
Coordinators specialising in working with both the employment/skills support and business sectors can help businesses identify vacancies and needs, retain and train their staff, influence the provision of training and support, and give Northumberland residents practical help to take advantage of the jobs available with local employers.
