4-6-WEEK COURSE AT NORTHUMBERLAND SKILLS WELDING CAMPUS, PORT OF BLYTH – 29TH SEPTEMBER-7TH NOVEMBER.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This Level 1 award in Welding & Fabrication is a foundation course for learners wanting a practical, hands on learning experience. It is a great starting point for anyone wanting to pursue a career in engineering or
industry.
Learn the fundamentals of engineering through a variety of practical assessments in MIG Welding and
Sheet Metal.
WHAT WILL LEARNERS GAIN FROM THIS COURSE?
The learning environment at Port of Blyth is designed to help students reach their true potential, with
excellent support from dedicated staff. Learners enrolled on this programme will gain fundamental
industrial skills, that will enable them to progress onto further education or semi skilled employment. You
will be working with, and taught by, a team of engineers with a huge amount of industrial experience.
On completion of the course, learners will be offered the chance to interview with Universal Wolf and,
most likely, a job as a Sheet Metal Worker in training. To date, we’ve offered roles to 12 course graduates.
