Apprenticeship Success Leads to Full-Time Roles for Bernicia Trio
Three talented Bernicia colleagues have secured full-time employment after successfully completing their business administration apprenticeships. Emma Caw, 19, Erin Tweddell, 20, and Kelsey Monaghan, 24, are celebrating their achievements as they step into permanent roles within the company.
Each of the trio completed their Level 3 Business Administration qualification, with their dedication and skills earning them well-deserved positions:
- Erin Tweddell transitioned from a Business Administration Apprentice in the Compliance team to a Compliance Co-ordinator.
- Kelsey Monaghan progressed from a Business Administration Apprentice in the Housing team to an Assistant Compliance Co-ordinator.
- Emma Caw advanced from a Business Administration Apprentice in the People team to a People Development Assistant.
The apprentices praised the support and encouragement they received from their teams throughout their training, which spanned up to two years. Reflecting on her success, Kelsey shared: “I’m over the moon. It’s such a relief and a great feeling to be in a job I really wanted, working for a great company. I’m proud of what I achieved, and it’s great to have the feedback we’ve all had.”
Jackie Johnson, Employability Manager at Bernicia, commended the trio’s exceptional achievements: “Kelsey, Erin, and Emma secured employment within the business even before completing their apprenticeships due to their commitment, skills, and attitude to learning. They’ve done exceptionally well and deserve to be recognised for their hard work and dedication. They are shining examples of how our apprenticeship programme nurtures the next generation of talent.”
The success of these apprentices not only highlights the value of Bernicia’s apprenticeship programme but also reinforces the company’s commitment to developing future leaders within the organisation.
