Ukrainian Harvest Day Celebration – A Taste of Culture and Community

On Tuesday 30 September, Full Food Circle had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Ukrainian Harvest Day, thanks to a group of incredibly talented Ukrainian ladies in Northumberland who shared their rich culture and traditions. 

Guests were treated to a delicious homemade feast featuring traditional Ukrainian dishes such as borscht, cutlets, nalysnyky and an irresistible selection of cakes. Alongside the food, the hosts introduced everyone to traditional Ukrainian clothes, customs, and the stories behind their cuisine, creating a truly immersive cultural experience. 

The event was filled with warmth, joy, and a wonderful sense of togetherness. It was a heartwarming occasion that brought people from all backgrounds together to celebrate the spirit of community.
