Work Smart Live Well supports National Apprenticeship Week
Last week we celebrated National Apprenticeship Week at Cramlington Hub with a special Work Smart Live Well session.
We were delighted to welcome over 30 residents from the Cramlington area and further afield (as far as Alnwick)!
Our star line-up of employers and providers was kept busy all morning, showcasing the apprenticeship opportunities on offer and supporting people with getting ready to apply for apprenticeships.
Among those in attendance was:
- Northumbria Police
- Northumberland Skills
- Cumbria, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear NHS
- Northumbria Healthcare
- National Careers Service
- Northumberland County Council’s apprenticeship and early years teams
We’re excited to see more people of all ages and abilities attending our next themed week, National Careers Week, on Tuesday 4 March.
A whole new line up, with some familiar faces, will be available to speak to on the day, including:
- National Careers Service
- Barclays
- Open Doors Beyond Barriers, an employment programme partnership with Northumberland College
- Northumberland Recovery College
- Northumberland County Council’s recruitment team
- Northumberland Skills
- Learning Curve
